Abaphathi Youth Development Group is a voluntary, non-profit, community-based organisation established in 2025 and based in Malmesbury, Western Cape, South Africa.

Our purpose is simple: to empower young people with the knowledge, skills, confidence and opportunities they need to reach their full potential and make a positive difference in their communities.

Our Mission

To equip, empower and uplift young people by providing opportunities for personal growth, skills development, creative expression, entrepreneurship, mentorship and community engagement.

We are committed to building future leaders who operate with integrity, purpose and a vision for a better society.

We believe that young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow — they are an important part of creating positive change today. Through our programmes, partnerships and community initiatives, we create opportunities for young people to develop leadership and life skills, discover their talents, explore entrepreneurship, participate in creative and cultural activities, and become active contributors to their communities. Our work brings together youth development, education, entrepreneurship, leadership, arts and culture, mentorship, community service and social responsibility.
